The RS612 requires minimal maintenance, since you don’t have to empty grass bags, add gas or oil, etc.. It charges itself, and now you don’t even have to remember to mow your lawn. However, you will need to replace the blades about once a year/season.

Plus, the one large blade acts as 3 actual cutters. Therefore, the cost is not as different as at might first appear.

In summary, you end up paying a few hundred dollars more for the Robomow RS612 than the WORX or Gardena, for example. However, just one of the features discussed above may make this device totally worth it. (Considering the fact that you extend the cost over a period of several years.)
